my prusa mini has been gathering dust because i coudint get the zhight working.

turns out everything was working it was the test i was using made it super frustraing to test zheight settings.

The zheight was way easier to adjust because there was more time to compare against old one. vs running multiple tests

20260615 -0.300 has some spotting but is ok (lets try a benchy)
20260615 -0.350 looks same as 300
20260615 -0.400 looks good (im supprised my old shitty method worked at all
20260615 -0.450 WOW HUGE CHANGE no bubbling

final verdict stick with -.425 good smooth stuff

why isnt it sticking
does the screws cause a issue if fucked with?

- its really crackly i assume its water
- i cleaned really good with water soap and iso
- using Jeff jordan z life adjustment method so much BETTER! than standard zhight adjust




updated the prusa mini to have 4.4.1 beacuse they changed the bootloader, to 2.0.2. now updating to 6.4.2
now bootloader is 2.5.0

also note when updating your prusa mini follow the guide from prusa. NOTE dont blindly update to 4.4.1 firmware first! then update to latest
